Thieves stole 25 trees from a nursery near Woodbridge.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area of Crown Nursery, in Ufford, at the weekend.
It is believed the theft happened at some point between 5.30pm on Saturday 8am on Monday, and that access to the site was gained over a fence in High Street.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said: “We can confirm we received a report of theft from Crown Nursery in Ufford.
“At some point over the weekend unknown offenders have climbed the fence into the grounds of the nursery site and stolen plants and trees.
“This included 10 apple trees, 12 hawthorn trees, two sorbus trees and one cotoneaster tree.”
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity at the location over the weekend, or has knowledge of the theft, should contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting crime reference 37/58671/17.
