The break-in happened between 11.30am and 3pm on Wednesday, January 24 in Foxhall Road.
Earlier today, Suffolk police confirmed they were looking into another two cases of burglary and jewellery theft that happened the day before on Tuesday, January 23 in Colchester Road and Rushmere Road.
Police say that intruder(s) forced their way into the Foxhall Road home by smashing glass patio doors before searching the home and stealing items of jewellery.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any knowledge of it or the previous two burglaries is asked to contact Ipswich CID on 101 quoting reference 4565/18 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
