EMERGENCY services were called to a village this morning after a three vehicle collision.
The accident took place on Woodbridge Road in Sutton at the junction with Old Post Office Lane at about 7.30am.
Three people suffered minor injuries and are receiving treatment and the road is currently closed in both directions. Diversions have been put in place.
A police spokesman said: “We were contacted by a member of the public shortly after 7.30am this morning, reporting a road crash on the B1083 in Sutton.
“The road is blocked in both directions and there are three casualties, all with minor injuries.”
