Three critical after crash horror

THREE American airmen stationed in Suffolk are fighting for their lives after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a tree.Military officials at RAF Lakenheath said the “hopes and prayers” of thousands of servicemen were with the three people who remained in critical condition at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, following Saturday night's accident.

Military officials at RAF Lakenheath said the “hopes and prayers” of thousands of servicemen were with the three people who remained in critical condition at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, following Saturday night's accident.

A spokesman for Suffolk police described their condition as “life threatening” while a fourth person in the BMW was described as “serious” after it collided with a tree in Undley Road, Lakenheath.
