Firefighters battled a blaze early this morning after three sheds were deliberately set alight in Colchester.
Three crews – two from Colchester and one from Wivenhoe – were called to the fire at Rembrandt Way around 1.46am, which left all three sheds destroyed.
On arrival, crews reported that three separate sheds, each positioned up to ten metres apart, were alight in a secured allotment area.
The fires were extinguished just after 2.30am and firefighters dampened down the remainder of the area to ensure there was no risk of reignition before leaving the scene by 3am.
The sheds are believed to have been set alight individually, according to Essex Fire and Rescue Service.
