Traffic delays on the A14 between junction 56 for Wherstead Road and junction 57 for Nacton Road in Ipswich have been caused by emergency repair work.
One lane is closed with traffic moving slowly in both directions on the Orwell Bridge and between the two junctions while the work is carried out.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey on these routes.
