A signalling fault at Halesworth caused disruption to train services between Ipswich and Beccles this morning.
Train services between Ipswich and Beccles via Saxmundham and Halesworth were suspended between Saxmundham and Beccles as a result of the problem at Halesworth, which was reported at around 6am.
The line was blocked until it reopened at around 9am. Disruption lasted until around 10am.
Train operator Greater Anglia and Network Rail had earlier apologised for the disruption, which was eased by bus replacement services.
