The single vehicle crash happened in The Street, Culford, near Bury St Edmunds at around 8.20pm.
Two fire crews and an emergency tender from Bury St Edmunds were called to the scene to help release a person trapped in the wreckage.
Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to safely remove the roof of the car, freeing the casualty to allow ambulance crews to them over before taking them to hospital.
