POLICE have issued a warning to motorists after this mornings frosty conditions caused a spate of collisions.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said between 7am and 7.20am today, they had been called to nine weather-related crashes across the county.

He said: “There have been a lot of weather-related incidents. They have either been collisions or vehicles leaving the road,

“It’s mainly on the rural roads that haven’t been treated.

“People should take more time and be aware that a lot of the minor roads haven’t been treated. They should drive according to the conditions.”
