Rail problems on the mainline between Ipswich and London are now beginning to ease following earlier delays and cancellations this morning.
Greater Anglia reported a ‘major disruption’ on the line this morning. There was a signalling fault at London Liverpool Street, however the operator said it was not having an impact on mainline services.
But there is now a good service operating between Norwich and Shenfied, however there are still delays for commuters near London.
On Monday there were major delays and mass cancellations on services running through Colchester because of over-running engineering works.
