Barring the usual rush hour hold-ups, motorists faced no major disruption to journeys last night.
Ongoing roadworks and slow traffic was the only cause for delay in Suffolk, which remained accident free since 11.30am yesterday morning.
Trains were also running on time, with no serious timetable alterations reported.
