TRAVEL: Motorists and commuters face few major hold-ups this morning.
No big delays have been reported on the Suffolk’s roads, or on trains heading in and out of the county.
The usual rush hour congestion is expected in Ipswich town centre, where one lane remains closed in St Helen’s Street, between the Grimwade and St Margaret’s Street junctions, because of gas main work.
Earlier, a broken down lorry brought traffic heading southbound on the A12 to a temporary halt. Delays continued while the vehicle was recovered from the carriageway, between junction 29, Crown Interchange, and Colchester United football ground).
