Commuters will experience delays on mainline services between Colchester and London Liverpool Street this morning due to a trespass incident.
At 4.30am The Metropolitan Police were called to an incident in Romford where a man was reported to be on a bridge.
The police attending the incident asked for the overhead power lines to be switched off while they spoke with the man.
The incident was dealt with by 5.45am but affected early morning trains between London Liverpool Street and Colchester that caused disruptions to trains from Clacton-on-Sea, Ipswich, Stowmarket, Harwich and Norwich.
There are currently delays to Abellio Greater Anglia services for up to 25 minutes.
