Football supporters faced delays on the way to today’s FA Cup match at Portman Road.
Train passengers faced disruption due to signalling problems at Stowmarket, meaning some fans faced a rush to get to the ground in time for kick-off.
Flooding also made driving difficult along a stretch of road near the Orwell Bridge. Rain fall and the high tide combined to flood a section of the B1456, known as The Strand.
