Train lines have reopened although services in Suffolk and Essex are still subject to disruption after a person was hit by a train at Brentwood Station earlier today.
Greater Anglia said services may be cancelled or delayed at short notice, despite reopening the line at about 11am.
“We are working to restore the normal service as quickly as we can,” said a spokesman for the rail operator.
Services had been halted for several hours this morning while police carried out investigations in the area.
