The A12 northbound in Suffolk is closed because of a two-car collision.

It happened at around 7.40pm near the junction for Copdock and involved a Renault Laguna and a silver Mini.

The northbound carriageway has been closed because of the crash and around 30 metres of the central reservation has been damaged. The southbound carriageway is running as normal.

A police spokesman said there were no serious injuries reported and a diversion was now in place.

However he added there would be delays for quite some time while recovery for the vehicles arrived and the barriers were repaired.
