MOTORISTS are facing delays on some of the county’s roads this morning due to a jack-knifed lorry.
Suffolk police was alerted to the jack-knifed vehicle on the A154 Trinity Avenue near Cavendish Park at 8.05am.
A police spokesman said it involved a green Scania HGV, with an empty container, and is blocking both lanes and that officers were awaiting recovery.
An earlier incident of a single-vehicle accident on the B1007 Stuston Lane in Brome, which happened at 6.40am, has now been cleared.
The road was closed between the A140 junction and the A143 junction while officers dealt with the collision which involved a white van.
A police spokesman confirmed the male driver suffered a cut to his head but no serious injuries.
The A14 is now clear after one lane was blocked westbound between junction 52 for Claydon and junction 51 for Needham Market because of a broken down lorry.
