MOTORISTS travelling home this evening have been urged to take care on the roads.
Currently there are no major accidents disrupting the roads in Suffolk but Suffolk police said drivers will face dangerous conditions as the snow and slush freezes over as temperatures start to fall.
A spokesman for the force said there have been 17 crashes today with most weather related incidents happening on country roads where the surfaces have not been gritted.
He urged motorists to drive to the conditions, slowing down, keep your distance from other vehicles and allow enough time for your journey.
Meanwhile on the trains rail passengers can expect a relatively trouble free journey, with no reported delays at the moment.
