POLICE are calling for witnesses after a female driver had her windscreen smashed by a large stone or brick.
The incident took place in Thurmans Lane, Trimley, at 12.25pm.
The driver reported that a large stone or brick had been thrown at her black Mini, breaking the windscreen.
A group of four or five youths are believed to be connected to the incident and the police helicopter is currently up searching the area.
The woman was shaken but uninjured by the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should contact Suffolk Police on 101.
