A multi-vehicle crash closed off one lane of the A14 in Suffolk this evening causing delays for drivers.

Emergency services were called out to the crash at 6.25pm today on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 just before the slip road to Trimley St Martin.

The multi-vehicle collision involved a Scania lorry and three cars - a Honda, BMW and Peugeot - in very foggy conditions.

Two ambulances attended but passengers were found to have minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The road was finally cleared at 8.15pm and traffic started to flow again.
