CHAT SHOW host Trisha Goddard is being treated for breast cancer, it has emerged.
A lump was discovered during a routine mammogram three weeks ago and a tumor was removed immediately.
Although initial results were positive the 50-year-old mother of two - who lives in Norfolk - was told a micro cancer cell was present in one of the lymph node samples that were taken for a biopsy.
The star's husband Peter Gianfancesco said: “She may possibly need, or choose to have, chemotherapy.
“We are both stressed and exhausted from the stress and worry, but are trying to deal with this one step at a time.”
Goddard will be absent from her Five TV show Trisha for two weeks.
