Two men arrested following assault, robbery and kidnap in Maldon

Two men have been arrested in connection with a kidnapping in Shakespeare Drive, Maldon, on Saturday, June 16.
Ethan Sweeney, 25, of Tennyson Road, Chelmsford was arrested yesterday, Tuesday, July 17. He has since been charged with robbery, kidnapping and causing grievous bodily harm.
He will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, July 18.
Essex Police said that they were no longer looking for Tony Price, who they were looking to speak to in connection with the same incident.
A 26-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested last night on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping, causing grievous bodily harm and assaulting a police officer.
