Two men from Maldon have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 25-year-old man in Butt Lane in the town on Sunday.
The incident happened shortly before 2am.
A 26-year-old man from the town was arrested on Monday on suspicion of GBH and bailed until December 4.
Yesterday, a Maldon man, 29, was arrested on suspicion of GBH and drugs offences and bailed until the same date.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses. Call 101 with information.
