ONE lane of the A11 was closed by police after a two-vehicle crash which left one person trapped in their car.
Emergency services were called to Barton Mills where the crash had happened at just after 8pm today.
Fire crews from Newmarket and Mildenhall went to the scene and cut one casualty free from their vehicle.
One lane of the south-bound carriageway was closed for two hours as the motorist was released and the accident scene cleared.
Suffolk police said no-one had been injured in the crash.
