TWO people have this evening been charged with attempted murder after a man was allegedly assaulted and left with serious injuries.
The 38-year-old was found in Tufnell Way, Colchester, at 5am yesterday. He remains in a serious but stable condition in Colchester General Hospital.
Robert Fraser, 41, from Weston Road, Colchester, and Mallisa Cook, 39 from Tufnell Way, Colchester, have both been charged with attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm. They have been held in police custody prior to their appearance at Colchester Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Detectives at Colchester appeal for anyone who has any information and has not already contacted them to do so by calling 0300 333 4444 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
