POLICE are appealing for witnesses today after a man wearing a balaclava robbed two men in a car in Kesgrave.
At around 1.20pm yesterday in the Fox Lea/ Through Jollys area of Kesgrave a man wearing a balaclava and dressed in dark clothing stepped into the path of a vehicle, causing it to stop.
The men in a blue Vauxhall car, who are in their 20s, reported that they were threatened with an object shaped like a gun wrapped inside a plastic carrier bag and a second man got into the vehicle. Threats were made and a large amount of cash was handed over.
Both the culprits - described as similarly dressed, in their 20s, and possibly of mixed race - then made off on foot.
The two men were unhurt.
Police need to speak to anyone who was in the area between 1pm and 1.40pm regardless of whether they think they saw anything that may be of use.
If you were there, if you saw the men or if you have any information about the incident or the culprits call Woodbridge CID on 01473 613500.
