SHOTLEY: Firefighters tackled a blaze which swept across a 30 square metre area of undergrowth.
A Holbrook crew were called to Shotley Caravan Park, in Gate Farm Road, just before 5pm yesterday.
They arrived to find around 30 square metres of undergrowth alight.
Using a single hose, firefighters were able to stop the flames spreading further and had the blaze under control within about half an hour.
A Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said it was unclear how the fire started.
