A MOTORBIKE rider has been taken to hospital with a suspected back injury after a collision with a car in Ipswich.
Norwich Road was closed between Dales Road and Kitchener Road because of the incident, which happened at 6.52pm last night.
A motorbike and a red Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the crash at the corner of Norwich Road and Springfield Lane.
Ambulance crews treated the male biker on scene and he was then taken to Ipswich Hospital. He is believed to have suffered a back injury.
No-one else was injured in the incident.
The road was reopened by 8.20pm.
