The 18-year-old man arrested by police in connection with an attack where corrosive liquid was thrown at a man in Witham, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The incident happened in Bramble Road on August 8, where a 56-year-old man had liquid thrown in his face outside his home.
An 18-year-old man, from Lewisham in south east London, was arrested on suspicion of GBH but has been bailed, and will return to Essex police station on February 7.
A 15-year-old boy from Mitcham, south London, appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 12, and was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on January 19.
