POLICE have charged a man with murder after the body of a man was found in a property in Chelmsford on Saturday morning.
Officers were called to an address in Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, at about 12.30 am on Saturday.
The body of a man who is believed to be in his 50s was found inside – a post-mortem examination is currently taking place.
Detectives have now charged a 22-year-old cleaner, Michael Brennan, from The Green in the Melbourne area of Chelmsford, with one count of murder.
He has been detained in police custody and will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Monday, May 6.
