A MAN in his 90s has died in hospital after suffering severe burns to his legs.
The East of England Ambulance Service were called to the scene in Pixey Green, Stradbroke, at about 7.35am today (Wednesday January 30).
The land and air ambulance crews arrived between 7.50-8am and worked for an hour stabilising the man at the property.
He had been found unconscious but breathing and was taken to Norfolk & Norwich Hospital at about 8.50am in a “serious but stable condition”.
But a spokeswoman from the East Anglian Air Ambulance said he later died in hospital.
She said the burns had been caused by a gas heater.
