Police in Ipswich have confirmed that a missing man has today been found safe and well.
Marcell Clarke, 33, was reporting missing to police at about 9.45am this morning.
Mr Clarke of Morland Road, Ipswich, had contacted his girlfriend stating he wanted to do himself harm.
Police officers, the dog unit, police helicopter and the Coastguard were sent out to search for him as well as ongoing inquiries taking place.
A police spokeswoman said this afternoon: “Ipswich Police can confirm that missing Ipswich man Marcell Clarke has been found alive and well in the town, and they would like to thank everyone for their support with this missing person enquiry.”
