A POST mortem examination has taken place this afternoon after a man was found dead in an Ipswich home.

Officers were called to the property in Burrell Road just after 1.10pm yesterday, where the man, who is believed to be in his forties, was discovered by a member of the public.

Police have said they are not treating the death as suspicious and there is not thought to have been any third-party involvement.

Following the post mortem, at Ipswich hospital this afternoon, further tests including toxicology will be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Police have informed the coroner and have said an inquest will be held in due course.
