QUEUEING traffic in Stowmarket has cleared after problems with a level crossing were resolved.
Station Road East in Stowmarket had been closed in both directions between the junctions for Stowupland Street and Creeting Road because of the faulty level crossing barrier but it is now working properly
Hazardous driving conditions have been reported on Henley Road southbound in Henley between the Rede Lane junction and the A1214 Valley Road junction because of a fuel spillage.
There are no other reported delays on the county’s roads while Greater Anglia has reported a “good service” on the rail network.
Today’s weather forecast is of heavy rain with thunder at times and a maximum temperature of 18C.
