A MOTHER, son and their dog were rescued after getting stuck in mud near an Ipswich park.
They reported being stuck in a bog near Whitland Close, behind Bourne Park, at 11.21am.
Firefighters said the woman was submerged up to her thighs, while the seven-year-old boy was covered up to his waist.
They rescued the duo, as well as a dog, before handing them over to be assessed by paramedics.
