TICKETS for this year's V music festival have sold out in an hour and a half, organisers have revealed.

“We're chuffed to bits to sell out in just 90 minutes,” said festival directors Simon Moran and Bob Angus.

The event takes place on 16 and 17 August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire.

Muse, Amy Winehouse, Kaiser Chiefs and Kings of Leon are among the artists set to perform at the festival, now in its 13th year.

Other acts this year include Stereophonics, The Prodigy, Scouting for Girls, Duffy and Girls Aloud.

A limited number of tickets, available as part of coach packages, are still available.
