FIREFIGHTERS in Lowestoft tackled two blazes in the town overnight.
The first incident was reported to fire control at about midnight and one crew from Normanshurst fire station attended the scene at Aspinall Close.
They discovered a lawn mower alight and used a water backpack to extinguish the flames. It was brought under control by 12.25am.
Shortly afterwards firefighters from Normanshurst were called out to Kirkley Gardens in the town to tackle a car fire.
The flames were extinguished by 1.43am using two hose reel jets and two breathing sets.
