A Toyota Hiace overturned following a collision on Valley Road in Newton, near Sudbury, this morning.
Police were called to the incident at 7.55am. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance, assisting to free the driver. No other vehicles were involved.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust was also on the scene and the driver, a male believed to be in his twenties, was taken to hospital on a spinal board after complaining of neck injuries and numbness to the right side of his body. However a police spokesman said the injuries were not thought to be life threatening or life changing.
The road was closed while two fire crews from Sudbury and one from Long Melford released the male from the vehicle, with crews back at base by 9.20am.
Recovery of the vehicle took place around 9am and the road reopened at 9.37am.
