Visitors to Aldeburgh are enjoying the sounds of summer at a pop-up bandstand on the beach.
The daily lunchtime event has been running throughout the Aldeburgh Festival – providing an attraction for visitors, residents, and staff in the town centre during their breaks.
A variety of musicians have been playing at the bandstand on the shore off Crag Path, near the Moot Hall, including folk groups, community choirs, swing bands, school groups, big bands, jazz singers and classical ensembles.
The line-up has included Kiss the Mistress, Shorelark, Woodbridge School Swing Band, Thomas Mills High School, Aldeburgh Music Club, the Broadside Boys, Arcadia, Busking Sharks, Vagabond Trills, Rabble Chorus, Kansas Smitties, St James Middle School Choir, and Project Jam Sandwich.
The event, sponsored by local businesses, continues until Sunday at 1pm each day.
