East Anglia’s best known steam train the Oliver Cromwell has made its way back to London after breaking down last week.
Shaun Watson captured the train as it passed by Colchester railway station in today’s snowy conditions.
The ‘Britannia Class’ British Railways pacific locomotive went out on what should have been its final farewell tour last week when it broke down just outside of Diss on its way to Norwich from London’s Liverpool Street Station.
The break down meant it was unable to continue its journey and resulted in delays to other train services in the area for a time.
Mr Watson’s video comes on a day which saw roads and rail hit by disruption as heavy snow fell in the region.
