PEOPLE across Suffolk and north Essex are waking up to a wet start for the week as a band of rain spreads its way over the region.
Today’s early wet weather will continue for much of the day and will be followed by cloud and drizzle until this evening.
There are currently no serious incidents causing delays on the county’s roads and although services on the main rail network are suffering some minor delays there have been no cancellations.
Traffic is moving particularly slowly along Needham Market due to a large amount of water on the road surface.
