LIGHT snow flurries have been forecast for this weekend, with a possible dusting.
Phil Garner, a forecaster with Weatherquest, which is based in Norwich, said: “It’s more of the same for tonight and tomorrow. More light snow flurries and then I think on Sunday the chance of one or two sharp wintry showers around in the morning and it may be enough later tomorrow and Sunday morning for a dusting. That’s all we are looking at through the weekend.
“It’s very cold on that basis. Highs tomorrow of 2C and 3C on Sunday. I think overnight we will be seeing temperatures close to freezing. It’s been the same situation for the last few nights.”
He said the real cold feel to the weather would be due to the winds, adding they would be sharp on Sunday.
Mr Garner did not think the conditions on the roads would be treacherous this weekend.
