A man believed to be in his early eighties has been taken to hospital today after he collapsed in the heat.
East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was called to an address in Ipswich at 12.02pm and sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the incident.
The man had collapsed, possibly as a result of the high temperatures that are being experienced across the region today.
He was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
