A SEARCH is underway for an 82-year-old man who went missing near Colchester yesterday.
Essex Police has deployed its helicopter to try and track down Gordon Fearis, who went missing on a walk near Old St Mary’s Church, West Bergholt around 3.30pm.
The man, who suffers from confusion, is described as white, 5ft 4in, frail build, grey hair, glasses and wearing light-coloured trousers, and a green pullover.
Police are appealing for help in tracking Mr Fearis down and are asking people in the vicinity to check their sheds and gardens.
