A goatskin rug and horse figurines were among the distinctive items stolen from a home in West Mersea recently.
The victim returned to their East Road property to find the rear patio doors had been forced open sometime between 2pm on November 17 and 12.50pm on November 21.
Bathroom cabinets, curtains, a toaster and an iron patio set, still in its box, which is thought to have required several people to lift, were also taken.
