Female singers from west Suffolk are being invited to collaborate with an international artist for a project that could see them perform at Tate Modern.

Cally Spooner is holding a day-long, expenses paid, open workshop at Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday, 12 October, 10am – 6pm for up to twenty female singers who can read music. The session is part of the development of ‘And You Were Wonderful, On Stage’ that will be premiered at Performa ’13, New York and Tate Modern, London.

In preparation for the group workshop, Cally Spooner will be rehearsing with the core cast in an open session on Friday 11 October from 10am to 6pm. Audiences are invited to drop in throughout the two days to meet her and find out more about the project.
