Westleton: Woman taken to hospital after snake bite

A woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance after being left seriously ill by a snake bite.
East Anglian Air Ambulance’s Anglia One helicopter attended the incident near Westleton Heath this afternoon when a woman suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction to a bite.
Captain Neil Waller flew Dr Victor Inyang and paramedic Ben Caine to the scene.
A service spokesman said: “The patient was treated at the scene and then flown to the James Paget Hospital in Norfolk for further treatment.
“The patient is described as being in a serious condition.”
