A search is underway for a brass whistle stolen from a steam engine housed in a Suffolk museum.
Police are appealing for information following the theft – from the Museum of East Anglian Life, in Iliffe Way, Stowmarket.
The whistle was taken at some point between Sunday, May 8 and Friday, May 20. It measures eight inches and has a thread at the bottom where it attaches to the engine.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk police on 101, quoting the reference 37/34263/16. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555111 or at crimestoppers-uk.org.
