An award-winning wildlife blogger has captured this beautiful picture of a perfectly formed rainbow on the outskirts of Ipswich.
Jason Alexander, founder of www.wildlifegadgetman.com, took the picture from the end of Holly Lane in Rushmere last night, while out snapping a similarly beautiful sunset.
Despite having taken pictures of well-formed rainbows previously, this one was as striking as the National Blog Award winner can remember.
“I’ve set myself a challenge of taking pictures of 100 sunrises in 100 days, but I like to take pictures of the sunset too so I was out doing that when it started to rain,” he said.
“I turned around and saw the most amazing rainbow I have ever seen. I’ve seen similar ones before but this one was perfect and the colours were so vivid, almost like something a child would paint at nursery using really bright colours.”
