Detectives are re-issuing an appeal for witnesses to a violent robbery of a Suffolk bookies to come forward.

The incident happened at the Ladbrokes shop in London Road South, Pakefield on Friday, May 18 around 7.15pm.

Two men entered the store with an older white man who was referred to as ‘dad’.

One of the younger men jumped across the counter and snatched a quantity of cash from the till.

The robbers attempted to assault the manager when he intervened.

The manager was uninjured, police said.

The offenders left the shop with the cash and walked up London Road South.

Officers have issued a CCTV image from the scene.
